Quality, Purpose-Made Staircases

We offer:

Examples of typical staircase installations:-

Straight flight and landing using oak strings A straight flight and landing using Oak strings, handrail and newel posts that are brightened up by the white painted softwood stop champfered spindles.

Cut string oak stairs This cut-string staircase in American White Oak shows the beautiful effect that can be achieved without the decorative brackets normally seen on a cut string.

Hemlock closed staircase A beautiful Hemlock closed staircase.
The centre carpet, turned newels and spindles ensure that the look and feel is in keeping with the overall character of the original building.

Space-saver staircase The space-saver staircase is a quick and economical means to gain access to the loft, giving the client an extra bedroom or valuable storage space.

Refurbished staircase Many people just purchase stair parts and convert existing staircases. Here is a typical refurbishment. The original staircase has had all the newels and balustrading stripped away. This has been replaced with 41mm fluted Georgian spindles, stop chamfered/square fluted newel posts and ball caps.

Straight flight and landing using oak strings This quarter landing staircase made in Oak spans from the ground floor through to the second floor, with each flight supported by the centre newel. Square acorn newel caps have been used to enhance the elegance and character to create a superb focal point in the house.
